These details were taken from the current Legal Notice of the existing Jelly Beatz website.
Hosting
The website is hosted on a virtual server provided by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes technically necessary data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. According to the provider, the contractually agreed processing takes place in the European Union or European Economic Area.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, fast and reliable delivery of the website.
Server logs and security
When the website is requested, the requested address, date and time, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating-system information, HTTP status and requesting IP address may be processed. This is necessary to deliver the website, diagnose technical problems and defend the service against attacks.
Regular server and application logs are rotated daily and generally deleted after 14 days. Relevant extracts may be retained longer if required to investigate a specific security incident or pursue legal claims. IP-based technical rate limiting retains its short-lived key for no longer than one hour, depending on the endpoint.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interests are operational security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Page views and music plays
Jelly Beatz counts page views and plays of tracks, albums and playlists as aggregate events. An event contains the relevant content and time, but no user account, cookie, IP address or permanent visitor identifier. These events are not used to build visitor profiles.
Anonymous statistical events may be retained for longer periods because they cannot be linked to an identifiable visitor.
Cookies and browser storage
The publicly accessible website does not use advertising, analytics, preference or session cookies. It also does not use Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB or browser fingerprinting. This is why visiting it does not require a consent banner.
Further detail is available on our cookie-free browsing page.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process the contact details, message content and any attachments you provide in order to respond. Providing this information is voluntary; without a way to contact you, we cannot reply.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message concerns a contract or pre-contractual request, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are deleted after the matter has been concluded unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage.
External links
Links to Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and other external services first open a Jelly Beatz notice. Merely displaying a link does not send data to the destination provider. If you choose to continue after the notice, that provider processes your request under its own privacy policy.
The public website does not embed external music players, advertising networks, social-media pixels or comparable tracking services.
Recipients and transfers
Our processor STRATO receives technically necessary personal data to the extent required to provide its service. Other recipients receive data only where permitted or required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or based on your prior consent.
No transfer of personal visitor data outside the European Economic Area is planned for the website itself. Choosing to leave Jelly Beatz through an external link is outside the Jelly Beatz website.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can exercise these rights through the email address stated above.
You are not required to actively provide personal data to use the public website, although technically necessary connection data cannot be avoided when requesting a website. Because Jelly Beatz creates no visitor accounts or permanent identifiers, anonymous usage events cannot be associated with an individual visitor.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Right to complain
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for the controller is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, telephone +49 211 38424-0, email poststelle[AT]ldi.nrw.de, www.ldi.nrw.de.
United States visitors and children
Jelly Beatz does not sell personal information or share visitor data for behavioral or cross-context advertising. Where a US state privacy law applies in an individual case, rights granted under that law may be exercised through the contact details above.
The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Jelly Beatz does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us if they become aware of such a submission.
Security and updates
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, secure password storage, security updates and backups. Backups are replaced according to their configured rotation; personal data in them disappears when that rotation expires unless a legal preservation duty applies.
This policy will be updated if the website, its providers or applicable legal requirements change. Last updated: 24 August 2026.
